EIB-Dashen Financing Programme Targets More Than 34,000 Jobs in Ethiopia

The €40 million financing partnership announced by EIB Global and Dashen Bank on 29 October 2026 is projected to support more than 34,000 full-time jobs through Ethiopian SMEs. The programme prioritises agricultural value chains and includes financing for climate-related business activities. The employment figure is a projected programme impact, not a count of jobs already created.
